Time Flies...

Wow, time flies when you are busy! We have had a busy 2010 so far and here we are on the last day of school! We have done a lot and have many plans for the summer ahead. Push the fast forward button (backwards in this case) from January to June 3rd, 2010. We have skied, lost baby teeth, celebrated birthdays, attended book readings, had friend and family gatherings, celebrated a few holidays, attended a Casting Crowns concert, drank a lot of coffee (Sara only), replaced a worn out treadmill, enjoyed the nature around us, completed a few projects, played photographer (without mom & dad knowing), cooked, shopped, completed another year of AWANA, had art work displayed in an art show, crafted and built cricket houses! We can't wait to get summer started! We hear the water splashing in the pool and the garden seeds germinating! Here's to keeping our little family blog updated this summer!

New Years 2010

Another year gone by, another year of reflection and another year ahead of possibilities. Good bye 2009, hello 2010. I love even years!

This year we decided to stay close to home and celebrate the New Year with neighbors over a blue crab feast. This gave Jeff the opportunity to use his turkey fryer and have some bonding time with Neil on our frigid porch. It's kind of like hunting but without the camouflage.

Ah, the frigid December air...

Time for the first batch.

Don't make friends with the stuff you are about to eat...

Keeping the little ones busy while mom and dad pound out dinner.

You are tasty but provide very little meat to eat. A lot of work for a little bite!

Crab stew anyone?

Ringing in 2010! Have I mentioned I liked even years?

O Christmas Tree

...how lovely are your branches. Kate decided to write out the entire song and sing along one day. What a great way to get into the Christmas spirit! I love first grade spelling!
