South Dakota Trip Day Three

Day three got us up early and at the door step of Bear Country right when it opened.  We were able to see the animals getting fed so they were out in abundance for great viewing.  Then we drove down the road to Reptile Gardens where we took in a couple of shows, ate an Indian Taco for the first time and saw a lot of creatures with slimy skin.  We capped off our day at Mt. Rushmore for their wonderful evening program.  Definitely a full and fun day!

The wolves were kind of creepy...and hungry for some raw frozen meat.

Mr. Grizzly Bear very well contained.

The baby bear cubs were very fun to watch play.  They kept fighting, wrestling, and rolling over on their backs itching themselves.
Thank you Mr. Peacock for letting me get so close but he never fanned his tail.

Hello girls, I am 120 years old.  Please scratch me on my chin.
Beautiful flowers at Reptile Gardens.
Of course every place has a gift shop!
Good night Mr. Presidents!  You are beautiful!
